Gutless Albany Democrats May Be Finally Fed Up With Carlucci & The Weasels

According to the New York Post:

Senate Democrats may have a big “surprise’’ for Sen. Jeff Klein of The Bronx, the leader of the Independent Democratic Conference (IDC), which is allied with Senate Republicans. Insiders say the regular Democrats are actively seeking a candidate to challenge Klein, and possibly other members of the IDC, in the Democratic primary next year.

If they are really going to go after Carlucci, count me in. But in the meantime, I'm supporting NARAL, who hasn't been afraid to go after Carlucci and the rest of them.

Carlucci and Republicans Buy Each Other Off

As some of you know, I don’t really follow politics all that much. One of my readers who does sent me this article about how Carlucci’s group is raising money for Republicans.  Apparently, after stopping campaign finance reform, Carlucci’s boss Jeff Klein went to Buffalo to raise money for a Republican Senator.  It’s the least that Carlucci and Klein can do since the Republicans apparently offered to fund their campaigns.  According to an upstate website: “Republicans plan on returning the favor, according to Senate Deputy GOP Leader Tom Libous, who has repeatedly pledged to assist the IDC members – even financially, if necessary – if they face primary challenges from the left next fall.”
